One of the athletes representing Dominica in the 2015 Special Olympics World Games has won a gold medal.Claudius Shipley placed first in the 200 metres run race to capture the gold in Los Angeles, California. Crispin Dailey and Claudius Shipley came first and second respectively in the 100 metres hit.Stephanie Laronde achieved first place in the 100 metres walk for girls; she has secured a place in the finals.Unfortunately, Andrina Aaron lost to Palestine in Bocce.
