Allegations of Assault at Tuxedni Bay

first_imgFacebookTwitterEmailPrintFriendly分享Alaska State Troopers responded via helicopter to reports of an assault with a firearm at Tuxedni Bay across the Cook Inlet last week. The reports came in on June 16 and officers traveled to the scene of the alleged crime where they contacted 67-year-old Mark Martin of Ninilchik. Their investigation found that Martin “fired a shotgun round towards the complainant/victim. Martin then approached and struck the victim three times with the butt of the shotgun causing three separate injuries.” The victim video recorded the incident, but Troopers didn’t provide any motive for the alleged attack or the reason it was filmed. They say the assault appeared to be unprovoked.center_img Martin was arrested for three counts of Assault 2, one count of Assault 3, and one count of Misconduct Involving a Weapon 4. He was transported to Wildwood Pre-Trial Facility for remand.last_img
